Shea Jensen currently sits as President, North America at Urban Outfitters, and as a member of the URBN executive team, a role she has held since February of 2024. In this role, Shea has worked to stabilize the Urban Outfitters business and position the organization for long term growth.
Before joining Urban Outfitters, Shea Served as President at Good American and the President and Chief Customer Officer at Pressed Juicery.
Shea started her retail career at Nordstrom and served an extensive 30+ years at the company culminating as Executive Vice President and General Merchandise Manager of Men’s and Women’s Apparel. In this role, Shea supported all buying functions end to end buying men’s and women’s apparel for Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack, managing a portfolio of brand partners and product development totaling more than $5 billion in annual revenue. Her leadership was pivotal in transforming Nordstrom’s merchandising organization and evolving and enhancing brand partnerships. Prior to her role in merchandising, Shea served as Senior Vice President of Customer Experience, where she was responsible for growing omnichannel sales and gaining market share through customer engagement. Shea’s portfolio of responsibility included leading the product management roadmap and team responsible for mobile app and omni channel experiences, the Nordstrom selling and styling programs, the alterations and tailoring programs and online order pickup. She also led the development and launch of Nordstrom Local, Nordstrom’s small format retail concept.
Since beginning her career with Nordstrom in 1990, Shea has acquired a wealth of experience and knowledge around store sales and leadership, partnerships, and acquisitions, customer engagement, marketing, and merchandising. Having held leadership positions across companies within buying, field management, digital commerce, strategy, and marketing, Shea brings a holistic view of how to serve customers on their terms.
Shea has been recognized as a Top Woman in Retail by the Women in Retail Leadership Circle (2018) and named to The List of People Shaping Retail’s Future by the National Retail Federation (2019).
